What is MoatFund?
It’s a Fund Managing Protocol governed by a combination of smart contract running on Ethereum Blockchain. It is planned to disrupt the PMS industry by building a decentralised model to manage funds and shifting its operational activities on blockchain, leaving out no chance to scam the system.
What is MoatUnits?
MoatUnit is ERC20 token that exists on a ethereum blockchain. But unlike bitcoin or ether, it doesn’t have any value of its own. It have a derived value from the crypto coins it hold under its unbrella. It’s underlying value will increase if the coins under management increases in value. Its backed by some real values, not promises. It shows your Proof Of Membership (POM) in MoatFund.
Are you registered with Government?
The whole point of using smart contract is to create an agreement between 2 parties without any third party interruption. There is no need to register with any central authority as all the transaparency is maintained by Smart Contract. And programs can never be baised. They will accurately do the job they are programmed for. You can check the code and all the related transactions on Ethereum Smart Contract. We will stay away from any kind of centralised setup as far as possible.
How do we trust that our funds are in safe hands?
The managing team can’t simply withdraw anytime or any amount of ETH from the contract. MoatFund protocol restricts the withdraw of funds using a concept, Decentralised Governance which means there is no single governing party. And it will ensure the safety of funds with utmost transparency on the blockchain. If the board members votes are +50% positive then the funds will be sent to the managing team address for investing in the crypto coin proposed in the proposal.

How to Invest in MoatFund?
You have to send Ethereum (ETH) to the Fund Address. MoatUnits will be issued instantly after sending the Ethereum to the smart contract. You can also send ETH to our ENS address — moatfund.eth using Metamask or MyEtherWallet. Do not use exchange wallets for Investing in MoatUnits. Please cross verify the destination contract address ending with “4750”. Click the “INVEST” button above to invest.

Minimum investment limit is 0.1 ETH. No maximum limit.
What are the charges for investing in MoatFund?
The team will only charge 5% of MTC at the time issuance. Whether you keep MoatUnits for 1 month or 1 year or 1 decade. Our smart contract will not allow us to charge you in any other manner. Successful projects are driven by proper incentives, not central planning. 1% of the Invested fund will be distributed between board members proportionately to how much MoatUnits they hold. No further charges. No strings attached.
Can I invest multiple times using the same Ethereum address?
Yes. The MTU will be issued everytime you invest.
Where can we see my balance & current market price of MTU?
You can check the balance of in your metamask, myetherwallet and also check your balance on your address’s Etherscan webpage. You can check the currenct Market Price of MTU on our website.
How the MoatUnits will be refunded?
You’ll send MTU to Fund Address in a specified manner and equivalent ETH will be sent to your Ethereum address. The window of redemption would be allowed monthly or quarterly as per the demand. We will provide detail about redemption process later in time.
